Where Are They Now? — Past Years

Last year, Michelle Wang learned about drone theory, math, and computer vision at the Autonomous Air Racing program at MIT Beaverworks. She and her team programmed a drone as part of a class project at Beaverworks. When we spoke to her this year, she shared her most recent drone “work in progress,” and sent a video of the drone in action.

In addition to being a math wizard who attended a GFF sponsored Number Theory course at Stanford University last year, Yoonseo Jung is also an accomplished musician. We recently caught up with Yoonseo and learned that she will perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

We spoke with several of our GFF alumni to find out what they’ve been up to and how they will be spending the holidays. Along with several photos, here’s what they shared…

Maya Benyas began her first semester at Stanford University this fall and she has hit the ground running!

Gabriela Benyas has settled in with her roommate at Columbia University in New York City. In addition, she has been meeting and networking with a variety of people during her first semester.
