The Garwin Family Foundation celebrates alumni GFF scholarship recipients Maya Benyas, Charlie Du, Ananth Panchamuhki, and Eli Tsung, who have successfully completed their studies.

Maya Benyas has graduated as Valedictorian from Carbondale Community High School. Last year, Maya spent 12 weeks at the Berklee Boston Conservatory’s Film Scoring Program. Maya has been accepted to Stanford University, where she will continue her education.

Charlie Du has graduated as Valedictorian from Carbondale Community High School. In 2019, Charlie  attended Boston University’s PROMYS program in Mathematics, where he was challenged to complete math sets and problem-solve with an emphasis on independent work.

Ananth Panchamuhki has graduated from the University of Chicago. Ananth, a three-time scholarship winner of the Garwin Family Foundation’s CCHS Student Sponsorship Program for Talented Students in Arts, Sciences and Math, most recently conducted research at a biomedical research lab at Saint Louis University.

Eli Tsung has graduated as Valedictorian from Carbondale Community High School and has been accepted to Yale University. He will begin classes this fall. In 2018, Eli stretched his programming skills while attending an “Introduction to Programming” course at Stanford’s Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes.
