Student Sponsorship Application Form — Part 1

The GFF sponsorship application is now open for 2027 for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors attending its partner schools of Carbondale, Carterville, and Herrin public high schools. Additionally, with the support of their guidance counselor, students in the same grade levels who do not attend a partner school but reside in Alexander, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Massac, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Saline, Union, White, or Williamson and attend a public high school may also apply.

Please complete and submit the preliminary application form below to apply for the 2027 Garwin Family Foundation Student Sponsorship Program for Talented Students in Arts, Sciences and Math. If your preliminary application is approved, we will invite you to submit a second application form with additional information and requirements. 

APPLICATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE:

5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026.

Garwin Family Foundation High School Counselor Student Assessment

For Part One of the Garwin Family Foundation Application, this form must be completed by the guidance counselor of the applicant. The counselor may consult with fellow counselors, educators, or administrators to complete the form.
