Emily Jung is attending the first of two programs underwritten by the GFF. The first one just began in Seoul, South Korea, where she is an intern at the Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung Foundation, whose purpose is to promote democracy, peace, and international understanding. Her studies in the Social Sciences will allow her to focus on economics and the politics of North Korea. When she returns, she will head off to Stanford to study cryptography.
