Gabriela Benyas was excited to arrive on the University of Denver campus for the Lamont Summer Music Academy.
Violinist Gabriela Benyas experienced a summer of intensive music instruction and performance through the Garwin Family Foundation’s Student Sponsorship Program for Talented Students in the Arts, Sciences, and Math. Her first enrichment program was the Lamont Summer Music Academy at the University of Denver.
At Lamont, Gabriela experienced performing for her first master class, delved into a college-level music theory course, and performed in large and small ensembles. In her report, she shares details about the enrichment program and her takeaways.
