Gabriela Benyas—2018 & 2017 GFFer
As a CCHS senior, Gabriela is primarily focusing on college applications with plans to pursue a double degree in violin performance and mathematics. This semester she is taking Honors English IV, AP Physics II, Government, AP Spanish IV, AP Chemistry II, and Calculus III at Southern Illinois University and is looking forward to what remains of her last year of high school.

Rea Yoh—2016 GFFer

Longmei Ge—2019 GFFer
Longmei is taking five honors classes this semester, which means a sizable amount of homework, yet still manages to find time to participate in Math Team, Scholar Bowl, Student Council, LifeSavers, Key Club German Club (even though she takes Spanish), and the Terrier Historical Society. She also competed at sectionals as a member of the varsity Tennis Team.

Ananth spent his summer doing research at a stem cell laboratory and is currently studying Biochemistry as a junior at the University of Chicago. He is really enjoying his classes this quarter—studying Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry IV, Mechanics, and Music in Western Civilization.

Ryder is currently in his sophomore year at CU Boulder, as a double major in chemistry and percussion. He has found the transition to college life extremely fulfilling and enjoyable while maintaining an overload of courses and a high honors-track grade point average.
