Yoonseo Jung will perform at Carnegie Hall in April 2023!
We just learned that Yoonseo Jung will perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City on April 9, 2023. Yoonseo Jung recently completed a GFF sponsored course, Fundamentals of Augmented Reality, at Stanford University.

Alexander Brown will major in Art & Design at the University of Illinois.
We are pleased to announce that GFF Alumnus Alexander Brown will attend the University of Illinois next fall as an Art and Design major.

Jayla Ware will major in Marine Science at Eckerd College.
We are happy to announce that GFF Alumnus Jayla Ware will attend Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she will major in Marine Science.

Longmei Ge will major in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
We are happy to report that GFF Alumnus Longmei Ge will be graduating from CCHS this May. Next, she will attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she will major in Chemical Engineering. She will also participate in the Campus Honors Program as a Chancellor’s Scholar.

Arkaprabha Kolay will major in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
We are pleased to announce that GFF Alumnus Arkaprabha Kolay will graduate from CCHS in May. He will then attend University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign next fall, where he will major in Electrical Engineering.

GFF Alumnus Rea Yoh graduates from Brown University with honors.
We are excited to report that GFF Alumnus Rea Yoh will graduate with honors from Brown University on May 29th with a double major in Biology and Science, Technology and Society.

Minseo “Emily” Jung will major in Economics at the University of Chicago next fall.
We are proud to announce that GFF Alumnus Minseo “Emily” Jung has been accepted at the University of Chicago where she will continue her studies in Economics, Data Science, and Music.

Yoonseo Jung wins First Place for Public Speaking at FBLA State Leadership Conference
Last summer, Yoonseo attended a GFF sponsored Number Theory course at Stanford University. Since then, the multi-talented Yoonseo has been keeping busy with her math studies and participating in music competitions.

Alexander Brown Wins National Medal at Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
Congratulations to GFF alumnus Alexander Brown who has been named a national medal winner in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. This places Alex in the top 1% of all entries nationwide.

Michelle Wang Wins the State Illinois Junior Science and Humanities Symposium
We’re so happy to share that Michelle has won the State Illinois Junior Science and Humanities Symposium for her research. This is her third time winning the award, but it will be her first opportunity to attend Nationals and present her research in person.
